One piece core chucks combine our original ribbed core chuck and the mandrel into one assembly. By eliminating the center tube from the one-piece core chuck we’ve saved some material costs by incorporating the mandrel into the design of the one-piece core chuck.

There are several benefits to this design:

• Improved rigidity by eliminating any slack between the two-piece core chuck and a separate mandrel.
• The mandrel and core chuck are always found together and can’t be lost or separated from each other. This eliminates operators looking for lost parts and helps to reduce wasted time.
• Allows manipulators to be used easily to handle the core chuck during loading and unloading of paper.

Sizes:

Our one-piece core chucks have been designed for 10”, 12”, and 16” diameter parent rolls. Consider our solid core chuck or mandrel core chucks for parent roll sizes less than 10” in diameter.
