During our discover conversations with Chris we identified a potential problem with the material of the OEM heater shoes. We also began to question the wattage of the heating elements and number of elements in each heater shoe. During our design process we proposed an alternate material, a reduction of heating elements, and a surface hardening finish of the heater shoe we designed. Not only did the temperature control significantly improve the useful life of our heater shoes has been dramatically longer than the OEM replacement parts.
